“I read your book last night. I thought I might start just browsing, but decided to dig in and read from beginning to end. It is one of the clearest, easiest to read and understand books or articles on this topic I’ve ever read.”
— Reader Review
“I am greatly enjoying the client stories you tell. They all sound like normal things people run into, not bizarre complicated situations that may get attention but aren’t happening to most folks!”

Kathy McNair, Elder Law Attorney Why I wrote this Book

Early in my career, I was appointed by the courts to serve as guardian and conservator for seniors who had no family to advocate for them. I walked into hospital rooms as a stranger, making critical decisions for people who had no one else. Those experiences shaped everything about how I practice law today.

I have worked with thousands of clients, including many solo seniors aging without nearby children or close family. I have witnessed both the heartbreak of being unprepared and the peace of mind that comes from having a plan. The Solo Senior’s Guide to Thrive is everything I wish every solo ager knew before a crisis forces the question.
